The cost of probate will largely depend on the size of the probate estate and its complexity. Florida has statutory fees that are presumptively considered reasonable, which include:

• $1,500 – For estates with a value of $40,000 or less
• $2,250 – For estates with a value between $40,000 and $70,000
• $3,000 – For estates with a value between $70,000 and $100,000
• 3 percent on the next $900,000
• 2.5 percent on the next $1 million to $3 million
• 2 percent on the amount above $3 million to $5 million
• 1.5 percent for amounts above $5 million to $10 million
• 1 percent for all amounts above $10 million
